Description
okay, so the peple on my watchlist may be wondering why i'm so productive lately. to tell you the truth.. i don't know. all i know is painting has been an obsession lately.. or that's the wrong description. it's been like breathing lately, damnit.i don't know if i'm happy with this one technically (i sure as hell am not happy with my scanner!) but it's still the most personal piece i've done in a while.. (bow to babel was also pretty personal). original is A3 (big!).

Love the combination of all the elements - the lines and washes, and dark details and pale colours.

It's a good thing to be able to express your feelings through painting.

Oooh...
That must be my favourite piece from you in a while. I love the text overlay, and her expression... And of course your style, lovely as always.

I love it. I love how surrealistic it is, with the veil and flower on the girl's head, and the various symbolic objects scattered around. You can really feel that this piece is personal and emotional, it just flows from every corner of the imagery. You shouldn't feel miffed about it on a technical level, I rather like when an image is rougher and more about emotion, and you tend to see that alot with personal images.
I also like the inclusion of the text in this. It reminds me of alot of type of illustration art from the 1920's, but it may just be because of the style of the text and and the muted coloring in the art.
Anyway, very very beatiful, I love it

i really think that this is beatuful. It shows raw emotions, and i feel as though it can conect with the viewers. I have to say, i love your colouring style! I think its really beautiful how you have a nice blue shade on the body. Somehow..it seems so natural!
Anyhoo, beautiful job!

Oh. My. God. Instant fave. Even though I've been faving nearly everything of yours lately, so "instant fave" isn't going to seem like much of a compliment.
But I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

so pretty...
what do you use?
i always keep inking my works but in your case i don't have a clue...
i was told that i could use an F pencil so when you paint,
the lines won't disappear when you use watercolors...
hope you don't mind...

I'm loving your new found productivity as well. Wonderful pose, and I really like the veil around her shoulders, the text bubbles, and the red-red shoes.

I love the symbolyism. I usually don't comment but I just thought I'd point that out... the religious items... it's like nothing can make her happy. thats just my interpretation of it

Beautiful and powerful.
I think your pieces of late have been very inspired but this one so far takes the cake: it has this sense of loss that jsut brings it across.
It looks great on my phone.

This is gorgeous. Definitely one of my most favorites out of your recent stuff, and it holds my attention for awhile with all its minute details...I keep scrolling back up to look at it Her facial expression is really well-portrayed also, the smeared makeup is done expertly.

I don't know why she's crying either. Anyone with such perfect breasts and body and beauty should be happy always. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

would you define yourself as painter or comic-artist?
because I cannot really define what you are making and that's why I like it so much. it is just new and amazing.

i've decided to stop trying to define things.. i try to play by my own rules, which i make up as i go along ^_____^ thanks.
(i adore classical paintings, modern art, comics, manga, sculptures.. all of them alike)
