Description
Hello everyone, this time i took a break from the usual fantasy stuff that i've been painting and decided to attempt a sci-fi cityscape. I've done a couple of these before and i must say that i'm still a long way from being in my comfort zone with these type of paintings. I've always been mesmerized by those amazing epic scale cityscapes and decided to start one of my own. Hope you guys like it and do let me know if you would like to see more of such paintings in the future, i think it would be a good exercise for me to step out of my comfort zone. Love this! It is amazing!
Is it possible to get your permission to make it into a sticker?

I must be a time traveler--and not know it. Because these places make me homesick and nostalgic.

All I gotta say is WOW! I too like big sifi cityscape, their great to look at any moment. Especially when you have something like this taking up an entire wall in your home. You can do a theme party base on the painting or use it as a back drop for a cos-play photo shoot. Great job.

The Blue Moon logo was a nice addition to the rest of the piece. Keeping with the theme and such.

You have elegantly captured an epic-scale cityscape here! The colours and details are sensational. I would certainly be interested to see more work like this.

I've seen a fair number of sci-fi cityscapes and most of them are the stereotypical shiny cities that look likeΒ they were built less than a year before.Β Your city on the other hand is gritty with all kinds on infrastructure overlapping.Β It gives it the feeling like its been there for a long lime, like people have been living, and working there.Β That said the image does look a bit like a collage with different images collidingΒ into each other in an unrealistic manner, but the overall effect still works on me.Β I definitely support you doing more paintings like this.Β Β

Wow. This is fantastic. Is all of this your original drawing or did you model some of it after existing pictures if buildings? (lol the sex shop sign is great)

Thank you very much. 50% of it was done on a photo plate and the other 50% was hand painted in.Β

The giant sign that just says "DRUGS" with an arrow made my day

It is beautiful; but perhaps it needs something in the foreground for contrast???Β There's nothing to hold your eye and lead you into the scene...
