Gaster is super-enigmatic. Maybe a bit too much for me.
At least with Chara you get some of her backstory (not a happy reason to run to Mt.Ebott, friendship with goat boy, etc.)

True. At least we know more about Chara. I've been thinking. Where did Chara's body buried? Where Frisk have first fallen(flower bed) or the tree infront of the New Home?

There's a very good tumblr page that deals with that.
What actually happens/is stated in the game:
When you spare Toriel, she will walk ALL the way back to where Frisk first fell and take care of the flowers.
When you go all the way back after getting true pacifist, Asriel is standing there.
Frisk fell on a flower field that softened her fall.
Those flowers have a lot of meaning to the royal family (Chara's favorite flowers).
So we have: Asriel (Chara's best friend), Toriel (Chara's adoptive mother) taking care of flowers that were Chara's favorite thing
Ergo: It's a pretty good indicator, that Chara's buried where Frisk landed.
Toriel left Asgore after he declared war on humanity and left new home (the place where Asgore lives has four chairs in total, while the Home in the ruins only has three, meaning the royal family must have extended their kingdom soon after Chara arrived, if not, Home would have had four chairs, two for children, two for adults).
Toriel must have brought Chara's body with her to bury it where Chara originally entered the underground.

I guess that's true. Yeah it is more believable that Chara is buried under those flowers.

Overall it's just awesome how much you can interprete here. My favorite is the Charrator-theory (Chara as the narrator, the flavor text)

I know. A lot of people really look into the depth of undertale. (I also support that theory too. Hope it is 100% canon)
