Description
This was pretty much the first night after I moved in with him. He owns the house so I felt like I had to make everything perfect and take care of it since he was letting me stay and he wasn't asking for me to pay him rent, just to help with the bills. I wanted to do something special for him so I was making a Flan (spanish pudding kinda thing). He was at work and I was off that day.lol I felt so bad.. I thought I ruined his floor. He kept telling me the house was now mine too but it took me a long time for me to get used to that idea.
anyway...did this cus I wasn't being able to sleep. lol now i'm tired, time to go to bed.

I used to hate flan as a little kid for some strange reason, but after moving in my teen years and living with relatives and in an area that its almost impossible to fine flan locally or meet someone who knows what it is I have since come to love it. When I go visit my grandparents I tell them u can not make anything Italian or remotely not considered Spanish food. They ask why and I say because I eat enough of it back home here I want the stuff I love and miss. Also when can we go get a Cuban Sub down the street??? lol

Absolutely love this! I had a similar event happen with my boyfriend when I moved in 2 years ago. I was trying to make lasagna (you know the sauce) and caught the stove top on fire...no real damage (a little scrub here, a little paint there), but enough that I was crying like a baby. I STILL apologize like crazy when I hurt the house. *shrug* I don't think it'll ever go away.

I soooo know that feeling. My most recent spill was actually milk, and the damn saying 'no use crying over spilled milk' instantly popped into my head.
It always feels worse when it's gonna be hard to clean up though, and doubly so when it's someone else's floor.

I used screen tones I found online and Photoshop to do all the work. This is me and my bf's silly stuff I draw XDD I'm making him him a lil book for our anniversary.
