Theodore: Isn't it great? It's our first day of middle school!
Alvin: Ah yes, I just hated summer break Theodore...
Theodore: Well then, why are you so upset to be back in school then?
Alvin: It was sarcasm!
Theodore: Well, it will be a little more peaceful, the last two summers were crazy.
Simon: Besides, you should be thankful that Dave got us new clothes this year. Not to speak so strongly against out old clothes, but we did need new ones. We were getting too big for the sweaters!
Alvin: [Grumbles profusely to himself.]

What I lack in quanitity I make up in quality.

Holy hell this was a difficult sketch. But a scrapped Simon later and five hours sleep since then, I've created this monstrosity.

I'm sure there's tons of imperfections, but I knew that was going to happen, because the line art was done 99.9% by hand. The only digital line art you see in this picture, is the gold lining on the floor tiles in the lower half of the picture, and the number "218." Everything else was done with pencil, paper, and a ruler.

I could have easily done this digitally, but I wanted to really put some effort into this drawing. Originally, the drawing was for a contest. And even though it was canceled, I did it exactly like I was going to enter it in. It's easier to make a background digitally like I did in "Happy Birthday Fritzie," but I wanted it to be raw.

I'll be honest, I think their teenager clothing should be when they are teenagers, not eleven like in this picture. It's their first day of sixth grade, so they're still kind of small. I found this the perfect time though to unveil their teenager clothing. Cody and Fritzie will come whenever the muse pops up to do it.

Oh, and I'm sure one of you will notice that I signed the picture in full. It's a more official piece, so I signed it accordingly.
