Description
Taking a break from doing kiribans by taking on =Rozzers Color Scheme Challenge . This was ridonkulously fun to do, as it forced me to think outside my usual comfort zone and get all loosey with drawing. What made it more ridonkulously fun was doing a Scott Pilgrim theme. I encourage everyone to give this challenge a go!1st row: Ramona Flowers(vol.6), Mr. Chau

After looking at this, I'm really interested in trying this meme on myself. But I have to ask...where do you get those textures?

HOKAY super abridged version of halftone (the dot texture) tutorial comin' your way:
Make a new PS canvas. Paintbucket fill it with a very dark gray. Now with your swatches set to white and black, go to menu>filter>sketch>halftone pattern. Make sure the patten settings set to "dot" and tinker around with the size and contrast settings until you've achieved desired results. Then go to edit>"set pattern as" and you now have a halftone pattern in your patterns library.
The other patterns came with the Photoshop CS4 texture pack.

Your version of this has inspired me to give this a try here and only recently have I finally found time to get it done (click the [link] ).
Doubtful if you are interested, but I figured you would at least appreciate the fact that something you've done has gotten someone else to try something new, and I thank you for that. If it weren't for you doing this, I'd have never known this meme existed.

I can imagine that it does. Pushing oneself outside their comfort zone tends to make one get better.
Perhaps if I find the time to, I'll give this challenge a shot as well, though I doubt it'd be nearly as good as what you've come out with.
