Powerful and very impressive ! It truly is a perfectly balanced work : setting the tree in a hollow was a bright idea, which really widens the scope of the picture, while the different focal points (most notably the flaming torches and brazier, as well as the main hooded figure on the right) are judiciously placed and allow us to take in the whole scene. A trifle perhaps : there might be one raven too many near the foot of the tree, but that's a matter of debate. In any case, it would be a shame to confine such an atmospheric scene to a breaking down of technicalities. A fitting tribute to the god with one eye !

Man, this is absolutely gorgeous. I love how subtle the mist is; the way you can't actually see it, but it's still present in the muteness and softness of the colours.

Thanks man, I appreciate! I believe this work took something between 6-10 hours of actual work to complete. Hard to tell to be honest.
