Your Tokota crosses paths with an infant or child (animal or human) that is too young to remember where it came from or who it's parents are. Your Tokota must choose to either take mercy and care for and protect it until the parents can be located, or abandon it to nature.

A Clear path has been cut through the foailage. Not wide, just enough to show something has passed though. Possible another Toko and... something else. It was hard to tell, The trail itsself was atleast a couple days old. Why not? Ritari thought.

Eventually the trail left the grasses and small shrubs disappeared into the bare forest floor, the reddish brown combination of dirt and pine needles making the trail invisible. The scent remained, if barely. Following it was challenging; There were times it was barely there at all, others there was no more than an unnatural disturbance in the dirt. However it all went in the same general direction. Towards a place that few spoke of, and even fewer venture to.

Maiksuk Meadow was said to be a lush paradise shrouded in fog. An endless meadow of wildflowers and grasses nestled in deep in the wilds. No matter what time of the season, ihe weather would be perfect. However, no paradise is complete without its curse; The longer you stay, the more lost you became. Some tokos have simply vanished, never seen or heard from again. The trail picked up slightly as he rounded a hill, a little white fawn hapilly leaping a head of him.

It was ironic really. usually tokos hunt deer, and the deer in turn fear his kind, but He'd grown attached to the fawn not long after it started following him around. It froze about 15 feet away from him, staring at a tree.

He was actually surprised his companion spotted it first. A slight rustling the the shrubs at the base of a tree. A small ball of tan fur amongst the browish foaliage. Somewhere a twig snapped, causing the animal to jerk its head up in panic, and suddenly the clump of fur took the form of a toko. It was a pup.

Even from where he was, Ritari could see the fright in its face. He had seen abandoned pups before, many of them now live comfortably with other packs or in his own, but none were this young. He strode towards the pup.

The pup lay low, unsure if Ritari was friend or foe. Long traces of fur with twigs and leaves tangled about its body, and the matted grass in the immediate area suggested that its been here a a day or two at least. It had begun whimpering, seemingly expecting its parentes to come back and rescue it. The only other sounds to be heard were the ocasional bird and the rustling of branches in the wind. After a short moment, the fawn made the first move.

It cautiously walked up to the now shaking pup, and gave it a quick sniff and lick to the forehead before pulling back and jumping in a playful circle. Such a simple act seemd to aleiveate some of the pup's fear, as it starting to sit up. Ritari couldnt help but chuckle. he slowly walked to the pup's side and lay down next to it. The pup inched closer to him. His fawn lay next to the pup, using its hind legs like a pillow.

We'll go find your parents tomorrow. For now, rest.

Around them, the dieing rays of the sun case the forest in warm golden glow.
