Let me tell you a small story of Fail.

I saw that 's birthday was coming up, so I thought to myself, "Hey, I should do something" Then promptly forgot until yesterday.

I started this with watercolors. Nice and quick, right?
Then, my inner monologue went a bit like this:
"I looks kinda plain. Maybe I should try adding some lines with those Clear Color markers I bought in Japan"
"Blerg! That looks worse. Let's add some more watercolor"
"...oh dear. Not good. Let's try with some chinese ink instead."
"Slightly better. Let's add some color with Polychromos pencils"
"Not bad. How about some gold"
"...My, the gold pen is thick. This looks awful."
"...Look at the hour. No way I can do anything else today. Good idea playing Journey instead of working on this earlier, idiot."
"Whatever, let's scan this"
"...WTHTHESCANNERISDEADUGHHH&$&%#!!"

So I went out today and bought myself a new scanner/printer. The perfect end for this would be for her to say it sucks and to shove it somewhere, but I guess that won't happen.

Probably.

EDIT: ...and I just saw on her page that she went on Hiatus from DA. That's an even better ending to the story, I guess.
