well hey there new custom.Colgate/Minuette. Probably one of the easier customs, seeing as her eyes and body colour were correct to begin with, so i only had to change her mane and cutie mark.

its just a fanbase thing I think.
The fans of Friendship is Magic called her "Colgate" because her mane looks like toothpaste. Obviously because of legal reasons her official name could not be that, so when they finally got around to giving her an official name, it was "Minuette" in reference to her cutie mark.
But because the fan-made name was around for a while before her official name, most people refer to her as "Colgate"
