Description
I learned my lesson from animating: if you're going to draw the same character a lot, then simplify his/her design. So when I started making comics, I made sure the characters were easy for me to draw over and over again.Nas is made up of a bunch of simple shapes, noodle arms, and a few swooshy lines (which are fun to draw.) Because of his simple design, he's easy to pose. And his big face makes it easy to throw different expressions on there pretty easily.
There's no wrong way to draw Nas, really. This is just how his design is currently in the comic. I'm sure he'll keep changing over time as I steal features and techniques that I like from other artists I admire.
You can see Nas in my comic "Super Death Face" over at BADMUSICZOMBIES.COM

So from the looks of it you tend to bounce back and forth between using the brush tool and the pencil tool in Flash.
What version of Flash do you use?

I'm still at cs5.5 mainly because of the way the color panel is handled in CC. And when drawing with the brush, it seems the preview is like a super compressed jpeg.
As for brush and pencil, I used the pencil in the tutorial to lineart because I wanted uniform lines. I mostly just use the brush to ink these days since I'm into that freehand look now.
