I don't draw manga but I find this very attractive. And like others, I would've missed the flaw if not for JJ, but given the scene, the arms could have been someone else's or sculptured in place like a stone. Β The fingers are finely arranged, keeping up to manga technique.
And I give credit to JJ, he knows how to make a lol seriously. He also added popularity on this piece ^_^

The video was made because I enjoyed the nightmarish concept behind a long-armed mermaid running around the place, not to draw further attention toward one very minor flaw in a very good artist's work.

I now understand why you did that then, if you had stated such things then many people wouldn't get the wrong idea. But did you think to ask what the artist might feel towards it? They may not actually care on one hand, but if i was in their position, i would.

Yeah, the arms are pretty bad...and noticeably bad, unfortunately. But everything else about the picture is bad. Jollyjack was a bit out of line with the blatant mockery...calling someone out on a mistake is one thing, making fun of them is another.

From what I heard, he also made a video about it. I admit, I liked that picture. It was a quick, unexpected little joke. We had a good laugh and then moved on. But now that he done it the second time, it start to feel like a personal attack against NaschiΒ

Because he's Jolly Jack. He's one of those internet "critics" (trolls) that likes to latch onto anything and make fun of it/rip it apart longer than he needs to. Or at least with more ferocity than is warranted. I appreciate that he's a pretty talented artist, but he doesn't seem to be a particularly good person.
