hehe.. I work with a gal who is an engineer and colors her hair dark purple. It's actually really nice once you get used to the unusualness of it. She did her hair in drills the other day (much like this pic). was kinda cool. She didn't have nearly that much hair in back though.
Great tut. Spiderman's webbing is done something like this as well by some artists.
