Description
This is a commission for VDO, of his character, Karen, an anthro Arcanine; I'm really pleased how it's came out. I urge you to look at the full version as my commissions are 3000x3000 resolution, which upsets my computer when I'm saving these files n.n;Anyways, I've had a lot of fun drawing this one, and look, TWO pictures in January, how exciting
I might re-open for commissions after I finish my next one if there is interest too.~Nash

The textures in this image are breathtaking. I feel almost as if I could reach out and touch them. However, I agree that some softening more of the background to give more depth to the image would have made a nicer look overall. Also, her head bothers me, and it took a while to discover what it is that struck me. The left side of her face (her left our right... I think... at any rate the one turned away) doesn't line up between the strands of hair. Her other eye sticks out unnaturally, where just above a wisp of hair, the forehead is moved in too much.
Otherwise this is an absolutely gorgeous picture!

Yeah, I'm currently trying to work on softening the lines, they can often be harsher, and it's getting slowly better, but I agree, I think if they are blurred, it would look a lot better. You're also spot on with the eye situation, I never really noticed when drawing/colouring it, and it probably is more noticeable with the hair slightly in the way. But yeah, I can see what you mean, thankyou for the critique n.n And I'm pleased you like it!

Oooooh wow! Once again, the coloring blows me away! You are crazy, especially for all the work on the buildings and landscape as they get closer to the horizon.

This looks beautiful, I love the textures in it! The texturing on the buildings' roofs and on the walkway seem a little overly-defined (maybe a blur tool would work further back), but I am in love with how the rest of it came out.
Also- I spy Amaterasu! ^_^
