Oh, jeez... I'm so tired. I spent no less than an hour trying to come up with a decent background.I still don't know if I like it, but I'm too fed up with it to think about it at the moment.
Well, I really like Generator Rex. Good show, and I didn't expect it to get me hooked at all.
The fists are definitely my favourite weapon. I mean, I'm usually not too impressed with any superpowers, but damn, I just lose it when he makes those goddamn fists!
If you like this, stay tuned - I also want to draw Holiday, Breach and Bobo.

Ah yeah! Man of Action's new show. It does seem a lot better than that Ben 10 spin-off series. Rex is a lot more light-hearted. And yeah! The fists are cool. Nice drawing.

What got me was that Ben 10 was a kid hero who avoided the typical cliches of the kid hero cartoon. Then they did the spin off series where Ben was a teenager and all of the cliches were there. Where was the heart? Where was the humor? What was up with the new, badly-designed aliens? Heatblast gets replaces with a swamp creature that can use fire? How does that even work?

Hear, hear. I was never much of a fan of Ben 10, but just from watching a few episodes of both the original and the Alien Force thing I can tell how much blander the teenage!spinoff is. I guess they either didn't realize what made their show so special and ruined it, or maybe it was something the executives demanded. You know, so they could expand the audience or something.

Know what's funny? There were so many who would carry on to me about how much better the spinoff was. The show was catering to those anime fans who enjoy that dramatic-wannabe teen drivel.

I think the only reason I acknowledge its existence is because of the hot lead teens: Ben, Gwen, and Kevin. Other than that, the spin-offs don't entirely interest me either.

I wish there were a lot of shows that didn't exist simply despite how bad they are, there were idiots who loved them, like Atomic Betty or Adventure Time or anything by Butch Hartman. I also expect Problem Solverz to be garbage.

Okay, I admit it was out of line for me to call you out on a comment that wasn't even directed at me, as well as judge you based on your likes. Still, not all the people who like the shows you mentioned are idiots. (except Problem Solverz. heaven help whoever likes THAT) Some of us are straight-thinkers like you and we don't like others judging us for being fans of stuff they hate or for hating something they're fans of. I'll admit there are a few bad apples in our fan bases, but again, don't judge all of us as a whole.

Adventure Time isn't so bad though. I mean I kinda like the overall feeling of it, the chiptune music and the crazy world it takes place in. But the writers have no idea how to make the characters react in specific ways, how to create unique and responsive personalities, you know what I mean?
Butch Hartman shows and Atomic Betty I agree with you on. Though Johnny Test is probably a better example of a modern animated atrocity.
I saw the previews for Problem Solverz, and all I can say is, what the fuck? The animation is horrible, the drawings are horrible, the colors are making me want to gouge my eyes out, the dialogues suck, the premise is uninteresting and the whole thing makes no goddamn sense!
Everyone in the animation business is trying to be innovative today, but god, they couldn't be more wrong in trying to achieve it...

Thanks! I really wanted to draw him in a different style. It was quite a challenge since I don't remember the last time I drew a relatively physically developed male, and I definitely never drew any sort of machinery... But I'm glad you like this!
