The idea of using a long shutter speed in an escalator is great, though I hope that you would've experimented with even longer shutter speeds and different escalators. The results could be quite magnificient at best. A real Stairway to Heaven

the converging lines are great; real explosive effect
however, i'm not sure i like the grain on the right-hand side - doesn't really do it for me
also, could you make it a little bigger cos 800*600(ish) is not very big, esp when you consider the size of the border round the shot...
a 1024*768-type size would be that bit nicer to see the detail more clearly and the file needn't be too large.

i was using a longer speed: 2.5 seconds
i also used ND filter to reduce the light for that kinda speed. Otherwise it'd be overexposed

The converging lines here are great - by setting that camera down you've really created a sense of speed - very nice! It's also kind of neat to see their reflection on both the escalator and the wall to the right . .
