If you thought Pein was the calm and collected leader, or the short-tempered one who tries to settle down people like Hidan, then you might need your eyes checked.

Pein is everything described, but he usually gets worried and anxious a lot. Electricity bills, water bills, but most importantly, the damage bills. Deidara blowing up walls (by accident), Hidan crashing down from the ceiling, Itachi burning the kitchen, and other damages. Normally, one would go crazy, but it’s amazing to see that Pein actually tried to keep calm. At least they were mercenaries, so they can get money and payment from doing jobs.

One afternoon, as Pein was filling out and flipping through several paperwork, he bit his finger and ruffled his head in frustration. Even more damage bills. This time, Tobi flew out of the house in Deidara’s anger. At least Deidara fixed the wall. Or at least, attempted to. The wall was repaired in pieces, but they were out of glue to stick the pieces back on, so they had to leave it there for a while. That is, until Tobi was thrown back through the same exit (by someone unknown), causing the bricks to scatter and hit people unexpectedly in the face. Medical bills. Check.

You walked into the room quietly, peering at the inside through the crack of the open door.

“[name], you may come in.” Pein said, his eyes, never leaving the papers.

You pushed the door open with one hand, while the other held a circular tray of a hot mug of coffee. Snacks were provided on a cute plate.

“I brought some coffee, Leader-sama.”
“Leave it on the table.”

You did as you were told, and placed the snacks on the table. After doing so, you left the room as quietly as possible.

Pein sighed and decided to reach for a chocolate/vanilla checkered cookie, when a rectangular note card stood in front of the cookies.

‘LEADER - SAMA!
PLEASE EAT THE SNACKS AND TAKE A BREAK FROM WORK!
COFFEE AND COOKIES ARE YUMMY!
(　´∀｀)/ OM NOM NOM!’
