These guys are disgustingly cool. Apart from the creepy Grudge lady noise. That's not cool. That's damn scary ._.

This is AMAZING. The clicking sounds they make are so cool! You know what the freaky thing is? The fungus in the game is actually based off something in real life. It's call Cordyceps, both in game and in real life. It attacks insects, specifically ants, and slowly takes over their minds. Once the fungi-riddled ant has a comfy place to die, the fungus sprouts out of the body, and then secrets spores to find other hosts. I guess in the game the fungus figured out a way to spread from the insects to humans as well!

That poor ant! But I do love it when designers/developers or whoever incorporate what can happen in real life into stories. It makes the story seem more thought out and realistic. I think that is why I find Xenomorphs so fascinating and terrifying because there is this massive wasp that plants it's young in larger insects (mostly tarantulas) that will hatch inside it and eat it from the inside out.
I guess the insect and plant world could be responsible for a lot of horror inspiration >.<

There are so many amazing things in nature! I've always found fungi very interesting, that's probably why I found The Last of Us so damn cool.
I also find Xenomorphs highly interesting. Seeing some of the concepts, the more scientifically sound ones, people come up with are really cool.

If you decide to get the PS4 it will work on that, otherwise you should watch a play through, because it really is an incredible game! Just really sad in some parts.

Yeah, it has backwards compatibility. All PS3 games will work on it.
