Model - Janna LaanMy final piece for my Cultures of Nature Project
(still needs quite a bit more work and will be displayed as separate images)
ive had to put the res right down to upload it which is a shame as it looks alot better all big and bold!
Ive been told by someone that my images tend to not have much meaning.. i think that it was quite an interesting statement...maybe its just that my meaning isn't clear... or maybe they dont to anyone else....so i thought i would upload this piece to see how it would go down...
i would be interested to hear what you think it means and see if im on the right wave length with it... the title is a bit of a give away but in my head it has so much more too...

I think you are on the right wave length. Very creative way to express it too.
Very few of my photos have meaning. As a general rule, they are just things I think are interesting shot as technically correct as I know how to make them.

I like the first three images ... really good and i love the facial expression but the last 2 im not sure of, her face looks like shes tired and bored :S and her body reflects this too not sure if u were going for it (sorry if that anoyed u!! not trying to be meen

Really well, people seemed to really like em! ... Had a few improvement comments and that the "fur" image was more fashiony but for the most part really good... how bout you!? what they say?

not really sure to be honest... you know you can never tell with MB....think it went down ok... it just bugs me as it looks better on the PC with the glowing screen and all that... and i have a 13" so you can never see all the detail as a whole so end up missing things... i dunno...
didnt think it mattered that yours were fashiony.. thats just your style.. dont think that it a crit... think thats a postive thing!

Ha yup!!! and i duno mine look way better mounted on a wall than on a screen :S ... and how you meen u missed things, looked pretty good to me on the wall ... and well i thought it wud be a positive but they kinda made it sound like a negative and that it in some way didnt fill the brief!? meh oh well ur rite im so happy its over, hows your self directed going, i got natasha tomoro, may have to bunk!!!!!
