Description
To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMShrine Ridge is named so because of its view of Mount of The Holy Cross (the tallest peak in the center of the frame) You can't see in this photo but Mt. of The Holy Cross has two intersecting couloirs that form a cross shape. By late summer the rest of the snow on the peaks are gone, leaving a large white cross of snow on the mountain.

Greetings, Nate! It may be an older photo but it's one of my all-time faves so I featured it:Β
The Light From The Corner AheadYou think you know where the world is headed, and what others believe and who they are. But all are shadows cast by the light from the corner ahead. Who I am, who you are, you will know, when you've crossed the darkness, and stand in that new light. Be of good faith, hold your head high, not one of a thousand nightmares comes true. Trust in your dreams that there will be a world to work in, to love and be loved in, that joy comes in the morning. Friends, here are the latest featured artworks and usual music video to enjoy at the end. Β With all blessings, hope and love in Christ, -DebraΒ

i cannot believe i had not faved this photo after so long, the view is just stunning and there is great depth of field...the colors on the flowers in the foreground is perfect and the hazy shadows on the hills towards the center is a really nice touch...you have some very diverse landscape shots

it depends on where you are in colorado... this particular shot was taken high in the central mountains. you wont start to see flowers blooming up there until july

This picture is absolutely stunning.
I know it says not to use your photography, but would you be opposed to me using this for a reference in my high school art class?
I don't promise to do it justice, but I'll do my very best.

Wow, that was .. fast! Haha ~
Well I was just wondering about your gear, I'm going to buy myself a Canon 450D this friday and I'm doing a lot of research about buying the right lenses etc. Now I know you probably use gear I can't afford, but I'm just being curious, since I want to photograph the same subjects as you do. Maybe you could tell me what gear you had in the past? P: or am I asking too much now? n__n"
I was going to ask you about nice photographing spots around Pennsylvania/New York but I figured you live far away from there xD

Nate, you're very good. I only have 5 RAVs [link] so far and this photo and another photo of yours [link] are 2 of them! Two of the other RAVs are there for sentimental reasons.
With 3 Daily Deviations you're getting noticed by the DA community.
With nearly 1700 favs you know people really like this photo.
Your postings are usually no bigger size than this one but maybe you could make an exception for this photo. Anyway, it deserves to be another Daily Deviation at any size.
Although I doubt you'd be brave enough to follow Igor Siewanowicz's FULL VIEW postings. [link]
