What a beautiful shot of beautiful creatures. They rest in the fields ear my hometown every years but I've never been able to take such great photos of them.

I was thrilled to find there were 3 near where I live, so, to see this picture - with so many is just ... amazing! Such a beautiful picture and a wonderful shot.

Is this down in San Luis Valley? I have always wanted to go down for the migration... and always forget until it is too late. Beautiful shot, and although the exposure of cranes themselves is perfect, the sky and grass seem a little washed out. I hope that you plan to upload more from this series!

Absolutely splendid capture! It wasnt till I went to full view that I saw all the standing birds in the grass and every other bird in gorgeous perfect focus! Clever you are! How did you get to be sooo good at this when you are less than half my age! You must have been at it for a while, or are you just a natural with incredible talent?
