Description
To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMMy dad and I went out early one morning to take pictures. It's always fun for me to take photos with my dad, as he's the one who really got me into photography. I felt bad though because I was trying out his 100-400 on my camera when this heron pulled a shrimp out of the water.

What a wonderful photograph. I have never seen a bird like that. The detail & clarity are truly stunning, from the bird's eye to the shrimp's teeny tiny appendages.

I love how the beautiful indigo bird reflects onto the log and creates a wonderful eyepath to the opposite colored shrimp!

Do you remember how far away you were from the bird? x]
Im a newcommer in Photograhpy and need to know how far you can acctually zoom with that type of lens.
Perhaps a Nikon 55-200 mm lens for a start.
Anyway, love the photo, the quality is outstanding!
