To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMThe now ghost town of Crystal, Colorado was founded in 1880. numerous silver mines were in operation here in the late 1800s and this was the mill that powered a mechanical air compressor for ore procesing. There is a 4 wheel drive trail that you can take to this mill thats about 10 miles round trip. We decided to hike the road instead. It ended up being a really really long day because it was a steady downpour of rain/snow the entire way there and back. I actually was glad it was raining and foggy though because i thought it would be a nice change from the sunny and blue sky photos you normally see from here. hope it was worth it!

hmmm there is indefinitely a majesty to this photo. it's almost your classical log cabin in the forest, but then you see that there is this extension of wood protruding out of the ledge making more room for another wing to jut out. instant fav. excellent capture.

When I was stationed in Colorado, in the Army, I saw this place as a print, every day hanging in the "Mess Hall" on the wall.. I Really love your image better. IMHO.

no this isnt near black hawk, its actually more near marble, co. its in a pretty remote spot.. about 5 miles down a4wd raod. thanks though glad you like it!
