Description
To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMThe now ghost town of Crystal, Colorado was founded in 1880. numerous silver mines were in operation here in the late 1800s and this was the mill that powered a mechanical air compressor for ore procesing. There is a 4 wheel drive trail that you can take to this mill thats about 10 miles round trip. We decided to hike the road instead. It ended up being a really really long day because it was a steady downpour of rain/snow the entire way there and back. I actually was glad it was raining and foggy though because i thought it would be a nice change from the sunny and blue sky photos you normally see from here. hope it was worth it!

this photo has such an amazing nostalgic feel to it, i really love the autumn colours, and the gloom really adds to the feel, the waterfall is great and the building is placed so surreally on the edge of the falls amazing capture, +fave

I love when the aspens turn. What a great place. The drizzly weather makes it more appealing I think.

This is a stunning pic! Love the perspective and colours. +fav. All of your work is gorgeous and inspiring. You must be out and about a lot to see all those animals and wonderful land/waterscapes. Must watch you. And thank you for the watch as well.

I love this place. When I was younger ( I was a native Coloradoan ) my Mom had a photo of this place and she used scratch board to duplicate the image. She still to this day uses the printed cards of this scene!
Beautiful shot.

Superb capture!!!
My late mother-in-law painted that for me (different angle) in 1974. Your photo has made me decide to go there this fall.

This looks exactly like a puzzle I did one time. Weird. Beautiful shot though. Much better than the one photo of the puzzle.

I'd say that trip was definitely worth it. The autumn colors seem to downright glow in spite (or because?) of the gloomy weather! Usually I prefer "pure" landscapes with no signs of human presences. But here the house fits right in with its look of decaying wood!
