Description
To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMThe Milky Way rises from behind a large sea stack on the Olympic Peninsula.
I usually don't do a lot of night photography, but this was the scene just a few feet from our campsite so I really couldn't pass it up. This is probably the most visible I've seen the milky way to my naked eye.

I love the volcano resemblance. It looks like a heck of a wide angle.

yeah, the light pollution is so bad, a lot of people have no idea how awe inspiring it is. My last true viewing was a couple weeks ago somewhere mid Kansas. I am kicking myself now for not stopping to take the shot...

Wow. This is such an amazing shot.
This is exactly how the sky looked when I'd go hiking. Such fond memories, so thank you for posting this.

Really? Even those really fine mesh ones? I mean, we could do a vacuum cleaner if you want, but that's way less fun that a butterfly net...

Ill use a wet/dry vac for the Milky Way.. and we can use the nets on the rest of the stars... deal?

But they can hold plasma, right? Because if so, we're in good shape.
