That is a very popular spot to take photographs! i have one in my gallery aswell but i took it on the beach. Such a beautaful place and an awsome photograph!

I just love this shot! Hey Nate, I wanted to inquire if I may, I see a number of your shots reference ND filter, do you always shoot ND filter?
What type do you use? I thinking of picking up one but have never used them. wanted to get one that will do the right thing for me
This is one I looked @: Tiffen ND 6 Neutral Density Filter 72mm 4 Canon EF Lens
I saw some show 2, 4, 6 as a number. not sure how that affects the shots.

thanks! i took some of it mid-day with all the blue tones but i though it looked nice at sunset too

Did you use a specific setting or polarizer? The pictures were so rich
I just got an SLR and I am trying to work on using it effectivly. (i had turned away from the SLR for while)
I have a Canon 40d now

i used a grad nd filter for this shot. no polarizer though

thank you for the info I had not thought about the ND. I have a UV but was thinking of grabbing a Polarizer. I like the ND look
