A cow moose stands in a pond feeding on aquatic vegetation. These animals are very at home in the water and are surprisingly adapt swimmers. Moose, the largest member of the deer family have extremely long legs, which aid them in their natural habitats. Aside from water, moose are often found in areas with deep snow and tall grass.

Yes I live in Minnesota near Canada and we have a lot of snow up here and they are very common.

I am originally from Louisville, KY and this is quite different for me. It is pretty, but those -30 below zero temps can be quite brutal.

Voyageurs National Park is a beautiful area.

I am From Newfoundland and we are crawling with them here. They even opened the parks for some hunting to try and cut the population. They are eating all the vegetation!
