Yeah have you met her in person? She used to be a staff at the group home I went to. I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on how to draw anthro? I just decided that I want to start drawing anthro. I ask you this because I liked what you did with the vermin drawing. Oh yeah I don't have a computer tablet. Thanks

hmmm that good pointers huh? well i would say that you should find an artist who has a style you like and that you would like to emulate, practice their style for a bit and then add your own little quirks to the style. the biggest thing i would say that would help you the most is how to draw books. how to draw books are the reason why i'm as good as i am today (which isn't saying much xD) but yeah, and tons of practice as well, try to make it a point to draw everyday. oh oh and don't be discourage if you can't get a drawing right, i myself go through close to 10 pieces of paper before i get a picture just right x3. so don't give up if something doesn't go just right

I don't know if I missed it, but what medium do you use? I wanna say MS but it doesn't look like it XP But anyways, like the attention to the skull on her shirt and how it folds in with the clothing and the idea you used for the pants! Great job man!~

hehe well i used photoshop for it, but i'm suprised you noticed that i used the same coloring style as i do on ms paint. you see i suck at layers and dodge and burn tools so much, i just like the simplicity of cell shading, and i love to use heavy inking styles, kinda like the stye of inking in older comic books. though i really do need to work on my inking skills. thanks for the comment, and yeah the skull was one of the funnest parts of the pic...just cuz of the location xD

Gorgeous! Just gorgeous!
I love the coloration of this piece. They're all so vibrant and full of life,giving this saddened character a strong personality through her attire. The pose is so appropriate, making her appear down-trodden, yet due to the nonverbal body language that's she's displaying while crouching, I can tell that this is a playful character who's just experiencing some bad times.
The real star of this piece is the shading. Every wrinkle, every crease of her clothes adds to the dynamic lighting of this piece. There's great detail in her pants and shirt, as well as just the right amount of shading to her hair and fur.
Beautiful piece! It's a favorite!
