I do use a darker pencil fo rmy outlines and lean real heavy to make it nice and bold.

It really doesn't look that bad and I always admire how you put so much detail into your work. I actually hate doing backgrounds but I find that it makes the image or comic panel more complete.
So I'd say it's an awesome piece. It's always cool to see some beautiful babes ready to lop off some creatures head.
