This is one I enjoyed working on as well(as I do with all of my work). Another GhiraLink piece . This was to be placed just after the 1st battle with Ghirahim just a bit different than him just vanishing afterwards. Link was a bit exhausted but it seems that Ghirahim wants him to rest easy until the next time they face one another...Related content

To some degree, Ghirahim understands and sympathizes with Link. As he said before, they are bound by that thread of fate and destined to fight. Fate can be cruel and seems to always be that way for the hero and the villan. They both have to play their parts even if they don't want to for fear of the consequences if they defy what has been predetermined for eons. Heck, it is possbile Ghirahim doesn't want to revive his master because the cutscene where the demon lord was turned back into a sword, Demise didn't so mucn as thank him for reviving him. Ghirahim was only a tool and Link and tecnically Zelda, were tools for the Gods

and also in ROTDK when told by a spirit he would lose, he gave up his pursuit of becoming demon king as his brother was after he saw that demise was not giving it up.he revealed he now sees that he was being used.before he lost control he gives link a final request before proceeding to battle his heart out.keep a look out for the audio and art piece surrounding it.he claimed no goodness and ask that he not be pitied even with what he had to say.Even apologizing to Fi for his part in her becoming what she was as he rather noone " be a pawn" but also admired her for having a loyal friend as a master than one who lies and plays with emotions to get wat he desires.bravo on your comment,again

Thank you, I was meaning to make it that way. It was just something I wound up seeing in my head. before every fight he talks to link as though they were buddies or something. He is so far the most unique antagonistI have seen in the zelda series that is not a giant monster.

This is really wonderful - the monochrome design creates a real atmosphere in that picture as you discover more and more details while looking at it. You captured both of their faces very well, they are expressive and soft at the same time. What I really love are the visible differences in their profiles, which you portraited very accurately. The light reflexions on the metal are also substantial and still kind of vague, so they don't seem too hard.
It looks like Ghirahim isn't wearing his bodysuit, but I guess that's only due to the fact that his bare shoulder is in the front, so his clothes simply aren't visible. But Link is wrapped in his cape, which I think is a very lovely gesture. He looks so peaceful wearing it, though he's probably not aware.
The only thing I missed was a background - it doesn't take much because the scenery itself has enough atmosphere, the emptyness is just a bit confusing at this point.
But really, those faces are great. I could look at it again and again.

hes not wearing a bodysuit at least not the upper. There is no background as of yet but I left it out to add focus on the characters themselves. The original background to be the walls of the skyview chamber showing a bit of the exit that leads to the spring. I believe its best it is how it is given that I do not want this piece very busy.

Ah, so the first impression was actually right. That makes it even more interesting.
I do not say that it would have needed a fully detailed background - that would have overloaded the picture. But a few clues about where they are give more depth to the picture, the viewer can actually look into different stages.

This is really sweet and adorable I'd love to see more GhiraLink from yourself you draw them both so well. For some reason I liked the fact that Link is wearing Ghirahim's cape lol.
