How I did it
Put together using:
-Photoshop CS4
-photographs
-drawings
-textures
-layer adjustments
Part one
-A gradient layer fadin from navy blue to white
-Merging two different Pictures of sky
-Changing adjustment layers so they merge
Part Two
-Adding the coloured drawing/outline of the strawberries and man position
-Adding the picture of the man behind the strawberries
Part Three
-Taking the pictures of actual strawberries
-Layering the real strawberries over the drawn ones
Part Four
-Adding the lyric texture and news paper texture on top
-Black and white overlay layer
-Hue saturation adjustments
Final Part
-Adding a white boarder

Haha that is totally okay. I am glad that you're interested. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I don't use dA as much as I should anymore. I'm trying to get back into the habit of it! This poster was created as a final school project. You needed to pick a song that you felt you could represent best and I went through loads of songs and I don't even remember how I came to decide of "Strawberry Fields" by The Beatles but I did. I also at the time had watched Across the Universe, which is a great movie with tribute to The Beatles with a cool twist and a story line if you've never seen it. My original idea for this poster was taking things a little more literal and after development I came to this and this is what stuck. I just kinda let my imagination go when I listen to the song, like I do with several other Beatles songs. Their lyrics are amazing and some of the sounds. It helps my imagination a lot haha. If that doesn't cover what you mean please feel free to specify more. This is one of my favourite pieces that I've ever done.
