Back in the day I was quite partial to a bit of heavy metal. I was a fully paid up, rolly smoking head banger, complete with super stylish bandana. The ladies loved it and by loved it I mean hated it. So anyway, the idea behind this latest painting was inspired by the Metallica song 'The God That Failed' and that's what I'm going to call this one. I can't handle that genre of music too much anymore as it hurts my brain now, but I still love the nostalgia of it all. I think the bandanas can remain in the past though.
