Yes, there is a John B. Stetson University, the mascot is the Mad Hatter, and I got my BA from there. Perhaps Stetson's most famous alumnus is Ted Cassidy, as in Lurch. Mom was friends with him when they were both students. When I was there, we were a basketball power, in the same league as Wake Forest. Then, I leave Florida and everyone gets delusions of grandeur. Now, Stetson has a football team. Where are they recruiting players? There were only 2,000 students, and we were all nerds! "Okay. I'm putting gaseous nitro glycerine in the ball and I want you to make sure Georgia State intercepts it!"
