Description
My first real attempt at the Mi-Go. Went with a bug like appearance in order to match the description in the story. No eyes but with multiple antenna on the head. Also went with only two arms. I liked it but felt that it did not match the description so I went back and tried a bunch of variations. Check out the rest in my gallery.The Mi-Go are an alien race of creatures from H.P. Lovecraft's "The whisperer in Darkness".

I do like that these wings look more insectoid than batlike. I felt that a bug with bat wings was a rather silly idea, especially since they let it them fly through an airless vacume.

I really like all of your Mi-Go concepts; in fact, all of them could be 'right.' Perhaps each one fills a role in Mi-Go society. This is just the sort of creature you would expect in "The Whisper in the Dark."

Ok, this is sweet. I love how the wings are a mix between bat and insect wings.

This is a great detailed representation of the Mi-Go. It looks great, though the tentacles on the head look a lot like antennae... of course, Lovecraft's original description is a a tad vague, so... anyway... it still looks great, I always welcome different visual images of Cthulhu Mythos-related deities. The detail is fantastic.

Very solid as a creature design, but doesn't quite capture that totally alien, unknowable nature of a lot of HPL's descriptions.

This is one of the best takes on the Mi-Go I've seen in a while. It's completely monstrous and inhuman, but at the same time elegant and stylish.

I think this guy is the most exciting out of the group. He's definitely an action-packed space-invader. There's a generous amount of detail here to enjoy but I especially like the spine formations on the joints.
