This may sound silly - but I really feel like I should not only congratulate you for this shot but also thank you.
I was feeling really, really nostalgic and sad today. I mean, I never visited America - but this beach looks very similiar to the one that I used to visit some years ago, here in Portugal. Seeing this made me so happy! It's like I can almost feel that same smell! Thank you, you made my day!

Wow, the lighting is so striking... it seems to all melt into the surroundings and draws the eye straight to the bright orange orb we call the Sun... I had to make a conscious effort to look at the rest of the image!
