Description
Finally done!Made with:
-papier mache
-wire
-wire mesh
-elastic
-a plastic Christmas ornament
-some kind of fabric canvas mesh
-acrylic paint
-felt
-faux fur purchased from Distinctive Fabrics
-white turkey flat feathers
-thread
-button snaps
-foamies
-and loooooooots of hot glue
Took me three weeks, an average of 4h/day, and $80-$100.

Why, thank you! I'll be making a couple pairs of wings using this feather style soon-ish. (Only this time I'll remember to stiffen the felt so I don't have to use wire to keep it up. XD)

It does. It makes everything a bit darker and makes seeing fine detail near impossible. You have to get a little closer than normal to read ordinary text. I'll be trying out a better kind of mesh next time.

Is it a solid cast half disk or a hallow one like a contact (mind you less thickness to the disk the better you'll see out of it)?
