I liked some of the later elements and episodes. And in the final few chapters I really love the humour.
SSJ 4 is what really made it work, And, (I can't believe I'm saying this) But I don't mind Vegeta's "little changes" because we all know HARDCORE VEGETA from DBZ, It was nice to see a comical "family-guy" Approach to how Vegeta was fitting in as an earthling.
DBGT is more like, "OH MY GOD LOOK AT HOW THEY'VE CHANGED" and "WOW GOKU IS SO GREAT THAT THING WITH TRAINING UUB WAS A TOTAL JOKE HE CAN'T BE REPLACED, HA!"
And DBZ is more, "HOLY FREAKING CRAP DID YOU SEE THAT?!?!?" and "THE JUGULAR!!!!! GO FOR THE JUGULAR!!!!!!... I MEAN, GO EARTH!!!!
