"My skills? Well I grew up in a tiny little town that was more nomadic than anything, we traveled with our tents as we explored the land. It was a pretty amazing upbringing, seeing the sights and learning the lay of the land like that with my family. I have a great sense of direction and stamina, I love exploring and wandering. Uhm, is that enough?"

Full History

Rilien was born to a small band of elves that made a living traveling the wilds of Ekialdean. They were nomadic and mainly lived off the land, stopping in towns once every other season or when needed. They would also meet with others groups of wanderers to share information, warnings and to celebrate. Rilien was a slight boy with a pretty face, but this was no excuse to not learn survival skills like the other children. He took to the bow and found a proficiency in tracking while also learning skills such as foraging and fishing. His parents raised him with love along with the other members of the troupe.

To help his family he would eventually start wandering to nearby towns when they would camp, to ask around for odd jobs to earn money or goods. Gaining some people skills as he smiled and laughed his way through deals. But the tight streets and thrumming masses of people in the large cities frightened him, and he would often pass on venturing in when the opportunity arose. The nature of this nomadic lifestyle meant people parting way to join other groups or to wander their own path was common. It wasn't a tearful separation as they understood that they carried each other's love in their hearts, and would never truly be separated. One night of celebration brought the gossip of a newly discovered island, and Rilien was alight with curiosity. Starting the process of figuring out how to get there with the help of his parents.

He's used to being on the move, seeing new faces and places. He can settle down for a little while but will always end up restless. Exploring the unknown is dangerous but that just adds to the draw of it; the island is a lamp and he's a moth, it just can't be helped.
