Oh, have you ever played the Curious household using just the unmodded base game? Because when I did that, Pascal didn't wave to the camera or do the belly-pop animation. He just got up and walked somewhere. I guess the whole belly-pop animation happens despite him being so close to delivery, because expansion packs reset all the lots.

I was also able to throw a birthday party with a 'good time' rating at the Smith household, with just the base game. No mods, and no ensorceling any visiting sims with the 'sim controller' mod. I think having Johnny make out with Ophelia helped.

And in Pleasantview, I found a way to get Daniel Pleasant to have his cake and eat it. The maid only needed to clean a couple sinks, and then she was done, so I acted fast and had Daniel cuddle and woohoo her, then I had him wake up and head to Angela's room, and chat on the computer.

Meanwhile, I had Mary-Sue choose the chance card option with the less-horrible negative outcome, so she wouldn't be fired and would have a chance for a promotion later on. When she arrived, I had her ask the maid to leave, then I had her and Daniel try for a baby. Despite it succeeding, I exited without saving, 'cause I wanted to try it again sometime and perhaps even grill Daniel after installing a few expansion packs. Might even get him abducted after having him drink some elixir of life. He deserves to get probeded and cry.
