Mmmm, cannibalism (they're being toasted over the fire like marshmallows~).

I started off taking three colors (yellow, red, and a dark brownish red which you can't really see very well) and just kinda dropped them all over the paper randomly. After that I put the paper back on the easel and flicked a lot of water all over it, which created those drips and removed some of the paint. Then I just took some black paint and looked for things that resembled eye sockets and painted in the negative space around them to form a figure (so yeah, the skull guy you mentioned was on purpose). :3

Hmm, I'm not really sure. I used to be all goth, so maybe it's my past creeping up on me. Either that or maybe I was influenced by the instructor's art (he does tons of corpses).
