This was a request byShe asked for Rikku ( her fursona) to be with her parents.
as you should remember from the comic, Wolf's Rain Next Generation [link]
Rikku was found by Natsume when she was a pup. Her parents are a beautiful Doberman named Athena and a Canis Rufus named Hototo.

Well no. They are docked . Doberman are not born with short tails XD they have to be cut off. ANd before Natsume got deflowered by Adoth , when her and Coop are talking. Natsume says how Rikku's tail was ripped off by a pack of wolves.

Why does she have a cropped tail? Unless it was cut, dobermans have a long tail when they are born and it's cut afterwards.

In the comic when Rikku was adopted by Natsume, some other wolves had beef with Natsume, so they kidnapped Rikku and tortured her. By the time Natsume found her, her tail had been severed by the rival wolves.
