This was a request byShe asked for Rikku ( her fursona) to be with her parents.
as you should remember from the comic, Wolf's Rain Next Generation [link]
Rikku was found by Natsume when she was a pup. Her parents are a beautiful Doberman named Athena and a Canis Rufus named Hototo.

O.o why does it it have a stubby tail?
Dobermans naturally have long tails, they are docked as puppies..

Another fantastic piece. You're coloring is amazing; I can't stress that enough. The background is quite lovely. I like how wise the wolf's (is it a wolf on the right?) facial expression looks.

And yes, Its RIkku down at the bottom ( half wolf half doberman) and in the sky is her motehr that is the doberman and her father that is a red wolf

lol A canis rufus is the Latin name for red wolf. Just as Canis Lupus is the latin name for Grey wolf.
