A while ago I got an ask on my IY tumblr about whether or not the kids had a human form like Inuyasha. The answer, in short, was that I don’t know because the reason hanyou lost their youki wasn’t explained in the series.
In that same post, I mentioned some concepts for possible “full youkai” forms they may take in certain situations (which they will hopefully never experience).

Human Form
As I explained in my previous post on the matter, my main qualm with giving the kids a “human time” was that I didn’t think it would be likely for all of said times to line up and I felt like trying to keep track of seven different cycles (including Inuyasha’s) of who’s-human-when was just too much to think about.
However, likely or not, the idea of all of them just turning human on the night of the new moon like their father has warmed up on me a bit. I think it’d be interesting for them to all have one night a month where they just look like a normal human family. I’m still not sure whether I want to officially integrate this into the universe or not, but I’m thinking about it. Any opinions...?
At any rate, that said, on the top we have some concepts for human!Michi, Yukio, and Moriko (too lazy to draw Izzy and let’s be honest, Kiotsu and Kikyo wouldn’t look very different at all; they’re almost entirely human already.)

“Youkai” Form
I’ve had this idea for a while now, but have never officially posted it. It’s more conceptual and “worldbuilding” than anything else, since it’s a process I don’t want any of them to ever have to go through--especially not as children (I even drew a slightly older!Moriko rather than her usual infant age)!
Inuyasha would protect them too well in their youth, anyways, and I know at least Michi and Izzy have items that affect their youki in the future (rosary necklaces somewhat similar to Inuyasha’s). Izzy, who grows up to be a miko like her mother, uses hers to suppress her own youki entirely and in doing so allow her to use spiritual attacks. Michi has a youkai sword somewhat similar to a smaller Tessaiga, but it’s extremely sensitive to youki (it has to be in order for Michi to transform it). If a full youkai touched the handle (with the obvious exception of Toutousai), the overflow of youki would shatter the sword. So instead of suppressing his own youki like Izzy’s, Michi’s necklace purifies excess youki around him. But both functions would help them avoid turning full youkai.
ANYWHO. Like Inuyasha, the kids’ youki would increase dramatically either as a last resort in life-threatening situations, or when in an environment with overpowering youki (think Inu in the ogre’s belly or Naraku’s body). I’m not sure they’d necessarily go into bloodthirsty “kill all that moves” mode like a hanyou, but it would be a very scary experience where they loose control of their thoughts and actions.
The designs are also interesting because they help convey which youkai traits they’ve actually inherited but just don’t show due to lack of appropriate youki, and which ones they simply don’t have at all.
