A couple of barn swallows in the marsh this morning... these have nests in my friends barn, about 300 yards away.They seem to want the same stick to rest on

I know what you mean. They are nearly impossible to catch in flight. I've had better luck with dragonflys. Check out my recent posts to see my attempts at photographing these birds....

thanks Kelly you should try to catch one of these in flight.... almost impossible
This shot was pure luck it flew by as I was taking a "still " shot of the other one
