Description Hi, I went out for a bit this afternoon, and saw this American Copper butterfly. The underside is just as beautiful as the top side. Enjoy the splendid colors of this one!

I chased an Eastern blue trying to get a good shot, for over 20 minutes, but that little bugger had other plans and never did sit still long enough!

I usually find them in an overgrown field near open marsh or really wet areas. Seems they like this type of terrain. Hope this helps you find some!
