Description Yesterday after dinner I took a walk around the conservation farm and was watching some blue birds feeding in the field. I was next to a large pine tree, when this little Red squirrel comes down the trunk and stops as I surprised it as it surprised me.. I got 2 shots of it, then it went back around and up the tree.

George, You're going to love the 300 2.8 and the extenders.. hope you go the canon
extenders, any others are not as good. I have friends with the 300 and 2x and
I'm amazed at the sharp images they produce. Good luck!

Hi Don, Yes I bought the Canon extenders... a 1.4X and the 2X. Buying the lens used saved me a ton of cash.. That point I loved, and so did my wife Nancy! The sharpness of this lens still amazes me.I get blown away when looking at the pics on my comp screen after downloading, so now I have no excuses for scuzzy images!

I was wondering where you were, since I hadn't heard from you for awhile.. Hope all is ok.

I love those little rascals. They scamper around our yard all the time, actually they act like they own this place and only allow me to stay here to fill the bird feeders and tend anything else they consider edible LOL

Hi Tony, yeah they are somewhat brazen little ones... more than once I've been scolded from a tree top by one of these guys after I interrupted what they were doing.

yeah with practice it's gotten pretty fast..Swing shoot and it's over. Taking bird pics makes it an asset!
