AND THEN THIS HAPPENED. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WAS A THING THAT HAPPENED.Right after Suika and Yuugi, I approached as hesitantly as possible, silently pleading if I could have a photo. And he was cool with it! Believe me, I may appear to be scowling on the outside (only just being in-character), but I'm exploding sparkles and rainbows and sunshine on the inside.
~I may have never gotten an autograph, but I still have THIS. ZUN in a photo with a pony cosplayer that happens to be me XD ~

Definitely one of my luckiest moments, I was so happy & nervous, I was actually trembling ;v; ! I really wish I could have asked if we could switch hats for the picture, but I feel like even if I knew how to ask that in Japanese, I probably would have immediately forgotten how to say it because I was so starstruck at the time that I even forgot how to say "Thank-you" in Japanese; I just bowed a lot XD . I have another photo of him too, with two girls cosplaying Suika & Yuugi.
Of course, getting this picture is second to getting into his Q&A panel; it had VERY limited seating, it was first come/first serve, and I got there way too late to the line that was already there, but the friend I went with had gotten in line in time to guarantee a spot, so I'm forever grateful to her. And then that's second to actually being picked to ask ZUN a question! You can read the transcript for the whole Q&A here en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/ZUN%27s⦠, but if you just wanna know my question, I asked if he could tell us anything about Rin Satsuki. I was a bit dissatisfied with his answer, but I did manage to stick in his mind because of it XD (He made a tweet at one point [roughly] saying "Believe it or not, at the Q&A session overseas, I got asked about an unused character and PC-98. I never imagined I'd someday be asked such geeky questions.")

After reading the Q&A questions I was kind of surprised of some of his answer. It seems that Zun isn't really interested with the pc 98 characters after all D: Plus I never knew that there was an unplayable character in EOSD so that was so cool that you asked him about that! She looks pretty interesting :3Β

I just wish we had a video of the panel! But then again, everyone would see the barely-coherent babbling I did right before asking my question XD.
Yeah, it'd be real nice if he could bring another PC-98 character back, but at the same time I don't ever really expect him to, so I'd be really surprised if he ever did again.
I really wanted to learn what she would have been like (Because I'm obsessive about "What could have been"-stuff lol), such as her species, her ability, personality, even just her hair & eye color would have been fine, because I really wanted the confirmation, something solid that everyone could go off of for pictures, fanfics, etc. I guess maybe ZUN just hadn't thought about her in so long and didn't really expect anyone to know, much less ask, about her that he couldn't remember any details of her on the spot (He really did have a notable pause of confusion, though what none of the transcripts include is him repeating her name once he remembered who I was talking about. That sticks out to me because it was the moment I really heard the possible "kirin" pun with her name. On another note, all the transcripts have me saying her name in Eastern order, but I actually said it in Western order). I just hope he'll consider finally making Rin canon in some shape or form someday, but since there's already another character named Rin that exists, I should probably doubt it lol.
