Another interesting piece. I've noted there seems to be some darker, somber tones in some of your work. Any particular reason or is that just my interpretation?

I think you are right but I don’t think there is a particular reason. Winter brings reflection, every year. Thanks for noticing the work my friend.

Love the mood here. There is a sense of calm relief in the face.
Is this titled for the pain killer or for a person I'm not familiar with?

That’s interesting. Yes it’s the narcotic, but it’s an old one and I didn’t think they even made it anymore, or that anyone would recognize the name.

I actually didn't. I looked it up, wondering if it was some
person I hadn't heard of before. I couldn't find anything
on a specific person (except a boy in a fictional story -
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conclave… ),
but I did find the narcotic name. Once I did, I looked at
the painting again and was struck by the expression of
relief on her face that I assume is granted by the medicine.

Another awesome work from you, I really like how deep and balanced the colours are here - the light is very good as well and I like how the strokes of the brush complement the flow of the her hair - well done, it is a pleasure to view your works!
