Okay, ONE more elaborate headcanon

So waaaay back when Turbo Time was in the arcade, Turbo and Felix were friends, and Felix would come over after hours to fix/soup up Turbo's car. Turbo started developing feelings. Felix rejects him, because he can't let anything interfere with his game, and he has a job to do.
Turbo feels progressively more abandoned, until the new game comes in and it ultimately culminates in the Going Turbo fiasco. Felix still has guilt about it, threw himself more into his own game. Had to make himself feel invested in the Nicelanders, in their lives. Parties at night because he can still see Turbo's face when he closes his eyes, that hurt look.
He thinks Turbo is dead, see. And when he finally comes into Sugar Rush, meets King Candy, who has the same voice, the same eyes, and who thinks maybe, maybe now everything will be alright, all Felix wants to do is rescue Ralph. His own stupid villain. Just doing his job. And what's more, he's brought a girl with him. A girl who gives him the glow Turbo never could, and of course Felix can leave his game FOR HER.
So Turbo kind of has a meltdown.
