Oh my gosh... So this has some explaining to do. This is so lame, Im sorry.First of all, I LOVE the prince. And I am HAPPY that he and Belle get together and have the Happily Ever After and blah blah blah. Really I do.
I also get that Gaston is a womanizing whore for attention and that he is pig-headed and egotistical. A complete jerk. So no, in a perfect world I would not like to see Belle deal with a man like that.
But for the past day and a half ALL I have been able to think about is Gaston and his bulging muscles
Soooo dreamy... And ya know, on the flip side I want Belle to end up with a strapping young man who is fully capable of protecting her from harm and not be bad eye candy either. So heres Gaston and Belle. And maybe she found something there that wasnt there before

I love this, all my friends hate on Gaston. I have to say though him and Beast, in the beginning anyway, are the same person basically. Plus it doesnt hurt that Gaston looks better

Thank you very much! I understand everyones hatred of Gaston, but really, if the movie didn't have The Beast, Gaston would have been that character. They have the same trope of being a bully and getting a second chance, potentially.

I have a theory that if Gaston was a young rich prince, he could have easily ended up in the Beast's same predicament. They're both vain, proud, and selfish. Also it shows that both characters can be humiliated, so I think Gaston would react to it the same way the Beast did. Lol, too much time on my hands. XD

No, I think that you are on to something. The Beast and Gaston are two people who look and act hard, spoiled, angry and arrogant but we've seen that the Beast could change, there is nothing that says that Gaston couldn't turn over a new leaf too.

I like your description for these two in your comments, and I gotta say: Human Beast is NOT handsome. I've never liked human Beast. He's just....kind of..unattractive looking. Gaston looks better than he does, and we all don't particularly like Gaston's personality, but we sure do love his looks!
